Ranked the 8th best place to live in 2010 by Money Magazine, Fishers is a rapidly growing suburb of Indianapolis and a sister city of Billericay, England. With approximately 70,000 residents and a median family income of $103,176, the town is an affluent and large municipality in Hamilton County. Over 1,500 businesses are located inside the town’s limits, just 15 miles from Indianapolis. Shopping and Dining
The town’s recent increase in population has led to a growing demand for shopping, dining and entertainment options. Fishers is now home to a number of local eateries, including: the Nickel Plate Bar & Grill, Peterson’s, and The Ram. During the summer months, stock up on local produce and baked goods at the Saturday morning Fishers Farmers Market. The North by Northeast Shopping Center helps meet the shopping needs of local residents, while the famous shopping malls in nearby Indianapolis provide convenient access to brand-name stores and specialty shops.

Parks and Recreation
The Town of Fishers includes seventeen parks and 65 miles of multi-purpose trails, including Billericay Park, which features baseball diamonds, lighted fields, playground areas, and a Splash Pad. Enjoy fishing? Head over to the Cheeney Creek Natural Area and catch largemouth bass, bluegill and channel catfish in the park’s three-acre pond. The Conner Prairie Interactive History Park is located in Fishers and has been named the Best Museum in the Indianapolis area. With a Craft Corner, a Discovery Station, daily activities and numerous exhibitions, the museum is sure to excite and entertain the entire family.
